Changing Peoples Lives

A PLACE OF HOPE THROUGH CHANGING PEOPLE’S LIVES INTERNATIONAL

In 2007 North Korean communist authorities extended an invitation to Changing People’s Lives (CPL) International Ministries to work in and interact with the Hermit Kingdom. Since then, it has been our privilege to serve through several different organizations, both inside and outside North Korea to promote peace, well-being, and to share the Love of Jesus in mostly non-traditional ways.

While there are some other organizations that spend thousands of dollars preparing for the future of the Democratic Republic of North Korea, CPL International provides a life-changing experience to the People of North Korea – NOW, when it is needed the most.

The people inside of North Korea are some of the sweetest and most caring people in this world. Those who are spending time and resources for “tomorrow” are missing the opportunity to be a much-needed blessing today!

NORTH KOREA: A SPECIAL MISSION

Recently we responded to an S.O.S. call for help and financial support for a group of North Koreans, to give them an opportunity to experience Jesus and His love in a very special way for several days.

A total of 41 North Korean Defectors attended what could be called an experience like no other. An undisclosed number of them chose to study and follow the Word of God while others made a step to show the love for Jesus through a moving baptismal ceremony.

It’s really amazing to see how CHANGING PEOPLE’S LIVES (CPL) International Ministries is an active tool that has been sending aid for years to North Korea, a place full of people with loving hearts and a spirit of Kindness.

Please keep CPL International in your prayers and the special mission we carry into such a “special” place.

CPL INTERNATIONAL AT THE NORTH KOREA CONFERENCE

Our CPL International President, invited by the administration from the Northern Asia-Pacific Division, attended and participated in a recent North Korea Conference. This inspirational conference was held at the Sahmyook University Church in South Korea.

Elder Gary Krause, Adventist Mission Director at the General Conference of SDA, made one of the most powerful presentations in terms of reaching North Korea with the SDA message, followed by a Sabbath presentation by the General Conference Executive Secretary Pr. Erton Köhler, who based his presentation on the title: Mission is a Miracle!

During such a special occasion, Changing People’s Lives handed funds to Pr. Oh, the Division’s Director of the North Korea Mission for the financial sponsorship needed for the upcoming and much anticipated Korean-Chinese Layman Leaders Training Program that was held on the island of Jeju.

Funds were given by a group of CPL Mission Partners for the Korean-Chinese Layman Leaders training program. Pr. Oh Beom Seok, the Northern Asia-Pacific Division’s North Korea Mission Director, and Elder Li Long Nan from the Yanji province in communist China, were the recipients of such a valuable contribution.

In response to the request from the Adventist World Radio Asia Pacific Region, CPL International took upon themselves to develop, support, and financially sponsor a Seventh Day Adventist radio broadcast from the border of Russia and North Korea that will bring hope to the loving North Korean people.

At CHANGING PEOPLE’S LIVES (CPL) International Ministries there is no issue of who gets the credit – we feel honored and privileged to support AWR’s overall mission.

Keep in mind that at the present time there are more than 160 daily terrestrial broadcasts that target North Korea through Short Wave Radio Frequencies broadcast by a number of different organizations.

Your prayers of support towards CPL’s Involvement and the need to overcome the typical challenges of an operation like this one are extremely needed and appreciated.

-Pr. Eliseo Lozano, CPL President and one of the guest participants at the NK Mission Conference:

CPL’s commitment and involvement in missions into North Korea remains at an all-time high and is active both in supporting the Northern Asia-Pacific Division Administration and the work of AWR’s Asia Pacific Region.

Recently, thanks to the crucial support from our valuable CPL Mission Partners, we were able to sponsor a much-needed training of Korean-Chinese church leaders somewhere in Asia.

A very large number of pastors have left the communist country of China due to the increasing “limitations and persecution” they faced while doing ministry there, and a very large group of church congregations are currently led by Native Lay Missionaries instead.

There are a growing number of people from North Korea that have found a “home” in the communist country of China, and CPL has found an opportunity to share Jesus’s love with these Korean citizens living in China.

We are thankful to God that the Korean-Chinese Native Lay Missionaries who are Spiritual Heroes are now better trained, equipped, and ready to share a life-changing experience with these souls of Korean background, who find Jesus despite being in the middle of the ongoing spiritual challenges within the communist country of China.

While we don’t feel that this is the right forum to share more details, please keep these Korean-Chinese Native Lay Missionaries close to your heart and soul, and we would also like to say: THANK YOU for providing the very much appreciated funds for the transportation of these missionaries to and from communist China and the related expenses for their outreach training.

CHANGING PEOPLE’S LIVES (CPL) International Ministries is a specialized ministry that supports the mission of the SDA message in corners of the world where Religious Freedom is highly restricted with world headquarters located in Loma Linda, California.

The training of Korean-Chinese church leaders sponsored by CHANGING PEOPLE’S LIVES (CPL) International Ministries was a refreshing experience, not only for those Native Lay Missionaries whose spiritual impact will last for years to come, but for everyone involved.

“I will also abundantly give my Spirit to men and women alike who serve me, and they, too, will proclaim my message.” Acts 2:18  – This promise is also extended to the Korean-Chinese Native Lay Missionaries sponsored by CPL International.

These are North Korean defectors deciding to follow Jesus for the rest of their lives. Many of us have no idea how much they were willing to sacrifice, they have risked their very lives to come to this inspirational moment. There are others who need your prayers to follow on the same path, even if that means being sacrificed as well.
